Horseback Riding in Los Cabos Between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, Mexico
In October 1994 it was founded by Francisco J. Barrena, an internationally renowned horse trainer, and his son, Valente F. Barrena. Valente was a Grand Pri jumper, a charro, a polo player and now is in charge of training the horses for trails, classes, carriages and dancing horses for special events. In addition to being well trained the horses are well fed and most of the over 60 horses were born here and have Iberian blood, Andalusian or Lusitano.
Cuadra San Francisco is at another level from any other local stable for many reasons, the most important one is that there is an on-site horse trainer and owner and the exceptional quality of the horses trained in all disciplines. We have excellent trail horses, dressage and school horses. Also, our horses are only tacked up when we have reservations so they are free to move around.
Trail Rides
Cuadra San Francisco offers a variety of private trail rides:
One hour trail rides either to the hills of Venado Blanco where you can enjoy the flora and fauna of the beautiful Baja Peninsula or along the beach in Cabo Real.
Two hour trail rides either a mixed trail of both hills and beach or a two hour canyon ride in the Arroyo San Carlos. Your group will be attended by an experienced guide to ensure a wonderful equestrian experience.
Riding Lessons
Cuadra San Francisco also offers horseback riding lessons in Cabo.
for locals and tourists for all levels of riders, beginners to experts and children and adults. Each lesson is customized to the riding level of the individual. Maybe you just want to hone your skills or learn a new discipline, you will not be disappointed.
