Riders of all levels of experience can be accommodated on well trained horses, the best way to experience Baja. We have special pony club size horses and saddles for children. A memorable Activity! We welcome family riding excursions!
Cuadra San Francisco uses western saddles and each rider receives personal attention in horse selection according to experience, stirrup adjustment and a brief lesson before leaving with a radio equipped guide. English Saddles available upon request.
There is a practice area assuring the safety of each rider. English saddles are available upon request.
Trail Rides Offered

One hour - desert trail rides to the hills of Cabo Real to see the Great Thorn Forest or along a beautiful beach.
Two hour- rides in the desert where you'll experience many mysteries and rugged beauty. Pass through the Arroyo San Carlos or Venado Blanco viewing awe inspiring rock formations and narrow canyons.  Or one hour to the beach and one hour to the hills of Cabo Real. It is like you are in a cowboy movie!

Two hour Mixed Ride- one hour in the hills combined with one hour on the beach

What to bring -  hat, long pants, water bottle, sunscreen and a camera to capture the tranquility of the magnificent Baja landscape. Life looks different from the back of a horse from Cuadra San Francisco!

The ride of choice is:
We recommend the one hour desert ride or the two hour canyon ride because you will be able to see the plants and animals that make Baja different from anywhere else on the planet.

We specialize in the Private Trail Ride, making the experience fit with the desires and ability of the rider.
Riding on the beach:
We do take groups to the beach but the beach ride is not the romantic ride that one envisions because the sun sets in the West and here in Cabo the beach faces East and the waves are too big to ride in the water.
Do you accommodate tour operators:
Yes we work with Tour Groups that have incentive tours for large corporations such as Porsche, AT & T, Epson, Pfizer, Sprint, Fortis and American Investors. We also take out guests from all the hotels in the area and local residents.
Payment:
We do not accept credit cards only cash or travelers checks.
Must I be an experienced rider:
We take care with each client in matching the horse to the level of experience of the rider. We use western saddles but English saddles are available upon request. Each person receives personal attention in horse selection and in adjusting stirrup length and if he is a beginner he is given a short lesson. We have an area to practice before they are taken out with a bilingual guide.  We have special pony club size horses for children four years old and up.  We take very good care of our children and your children and ensure a fun experience!
